DISTANCE LEARNING
This course is suitable for those people who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management, as well as those who wish to gain international recognition for this knowledge. Those candidates who pass the examination will receive a certificate from APICS.
The examination is also one of five, which if passed, lead to the awarding of the Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). This is an internationally recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management that has been awarded to over 80,000 professionals in more than 30 countries worldwide.
This course covers industry fundamentals, and provides a comprehensive overview of successful manufacturing strategies. It examines the basic concepts and language as well as the relationships between Master Planning, Inventory Management, Forecasting, Just-in-Time manufacturing, Material Requirements Planning, Capacity Management, Distribution, Production Activity Control, Total Quality Management, and Purchasing. Industry newcomers and those seeking to advance into management roles will benefit from this course.
COURSE STRUCTURE
On registration all candidates will be supplied with a Participant Guide, which provides comprehensive coverage of the 10 Sessions of study, an APICS Dictionary, BSCM Study Notes and the email address of your designated instructor. The instructor will provide on-line email support for all queries and clarifications required by the candidates. When you have studied each session you will complete the Performance Check and email your answers to the designated instructor, who will send you your score so that you can judge your progress.

The cost of the programme which includes the Participant Guide, APICS Dictionary, BSC Study Notes, Introductory Webinar, Exam Preparation Webinar and On-line instructor email support is €475.00.
