DISTANCE LEARNING
This course is suitable for those people who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of the relationship of existing and emerging processes and technologies to manufacturing strategy and supply chain related functions, as well as those who wish to gain international recognition for this knowledge.
The examination is also one of five, which if passed, lead to the awarding of the Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). This is an internationally recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management that has been awarded to over 80,000 professionals in more than 30 countries worldwide.
This course focuses on aligning resources, configuring and integrating operating processes, and implementing change. Topics include Choices Affecting Operations Structure and Infrastructure, Implementing the Strategic Plan, Integrating Design and Development and Cost Management, Measuring Organizational Performance, Change Management, Project Management.
COURSE STRUCTURE
On registration all candidates will be supplied with a Participant Guide, which provides comprehensive coverage of the 9 Sessions of study, SMR Study Notes, and the email address of your designated instructor. The instructor will provide on-line email support for all queries and clarifications required by the candidates. When you have studied each session you will complete the Performance Check and email your answers to the designated instructor, who will send you your score so that you can judge your progress.
