The job in a nutshell
You will be involved in the area of Supply Chain and Logistics finance. This is a key area for our business and involves a number of vendors and third party suppliers. The role reports to SCL Finance Manager, working on all aspects of accounting including financial analysis, month end, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Manufacturers Rebates, Budgeting and forecasting.

What else it involves

Monthly accounting, analysis and reporting of Logistic expenses and inventory management.

Assist in the timely delivery of complete and accurate monthly management accounts including P&L, and other ad hoc reports for Inventory and Logistic.

Review of balance sheet accounts relating to the SCL and Inventory.

Liaison with the SCL and warehouse teams, ensuring accurate and timely accounting of cost and stock provisions,

Liaison with key suppliers to ensure information provided is to required standard

Ensure that associated and ad-hoc reports are delivered in timely manner on high standards,

Be a key contributor to the management of the relationships with internal and external departments,

Support other areas of finance as requested by your manager.

The skills we`re looking for

Degree or equivalent

Newly qualified or part qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA)

Experience of financial and management accounting and control,

Experience of reporting and analysis,

Experience of working in a Supply Chain and Logistics (Desirable).

Experience with Oracle (Desirable)

MS Office Excel.
